We stopped in on a Monday night, party of 3. Here is what we liked: * Immediate seating, with a choice of booth, high top or bar. * Waitress introduced herself almost immediately and got us set up with menus. * We liked the feel and vibe of the place, like a sports bar on one side but a little classy. Lots of Pittsburgh stuff, guessing there is a tie in somehow with the owner? Had some fun sports interactions while we there. * Decent draft beer list and had a nice cocktail menu with some holiday drink specials. * Sirloin steak dinner was actually quite good for a sirloin, tender and good flavor. * The smoked blackberry old fashioned was a fan favorite, * The dirty bird sandwich was a solid good, the pulled pork was good on its own but together as a sandwich - this would become a go to for me. What could of been better: * There really wasn't anything that was bad, daughter had a pink Christmas Island drink that was eh, other than that we loved our visit. Overall it was just a nice night and good visit - would totally come back.

we had our ladies group Christmas Party at Ricks yesterday. Cant find the words to explain how accommodating they were for us. Linda was great making sure we had the space and set up we needed. she assigned Corey, again this year, to take care of us. He didn't disappoint. Unbelievable that he was able to keep 21 loud, laughing ladies fed and drinks in hand, while keeping separate checks on us all, while making us smile. Always top notch service special thanks to Rick's great team, food service and atmosphere set the tone for a lot of fun.

Nice atmosphere and good food. Our server was friendly and responsive. We enjoyed the live music!

This is my first time staying on the island. I've been hearing about this place for years from everyone I know that comes down here. So naturally I had to try it. We got there and it was mobbed. So we went to the brewery out back for a bit. Some cars left and we went back. We were given 15 min wait time but it turned out to be less than 10. That was cool. I went in thinking I would get the Carolina burger because BBQ is my favorite flavor. Then I got the 1/2 rack BBQ ribs because BBQ is my favorite flavor. They were excellent. You get two sides so I got fries and coleslaw. This isn't like places up north where you get a tiny plastic cup of slaw. The was a bowl. This was all too much food. This type of meal would be easily conquered at anywhere that I come from. It's gotten so bad up north you have to order a full rack to make sure you're full. If I would've ordered a full rack here my intestines would have surely burst like the punishment for gluttony in Se7en. Luckily I didn't do it and now I'm here to make sure you go to Rick's. My friend likes his steak bloody. The complied. He loved it. There was a live band playing oldies covers. I'm a sucker for live music so of course this gets me. Our waitress was fun and funny! So in conclusion I am a yankee and I loved this place. So I guess my review holds half the clout. I assure you I'm not bias. I don't even like the Steelers.

A sports bar with decent food! Whoa, in Snead's Ferry NC no less, what a novel idea. Gotta love it. Service at the bar was stellar, both tenders were working hard AND paying attention. Thank you!! The New England clam chowder was a solid 4 stars, think creamy, clams, potatoes and flavor, all close to perfection. The wings also were 4 star worthy. Medium sized and tender, wolfed those suckers down. The Asian Grilled Chicken Salad kept me busy for a half hour. Very good size, and very fresh, however the chicken was dry and overcooked. 20 TV's and 20 beers on tap, what's not to like. I'll definitely be back when in the area next time.

We come here at least once a month and absolutely love it. Even when the parking lot is packed, we still have always been seated right away and service is great. I am just now writing a review because I finally remembered to take a photo of our food. We try to rotate apps, and they've all been great. Yesterday we tried the shrimp le jon and it was fantastic. My boyfriend will only order their fish & chips. He no longer orders that anywhere else because he loves Rick's version so much. I try the special a bit, yesterday was halibut with cilantro lime sauce and it was perfect. Didn't manage a dessert yesterday, but when we have they've been delicious like everything else is. We love everything about this place and will keep coming back.

A truly fantastic place to eat just off of North Topsail Island. Always busy and for good reason. Everything we have tried on the menu has been good. Daily specials are always interesting and the food is always fresh and hot when it arrives at the table. Well if course I should say the correct temperature as they have salads and deserts. The service is outstanding and the prices are very very reasonable. You can get a table in the restaurant side of sit at the bar or high top on the other. The bar has multiple YV's and sports are on. It's a Steelers bar if that is your thing as well.

What a great, feel like home, spot just off the beaten path! I love Rick's for their food and all the games you can watch! The hostess was extremely friendly and upbeat! The menu is as eclectic as the sports memorabilia and decor! The service, ehh. I ordered a jalapeño cranberry margarita and a club sandwich with a side of fries and they were delivered pretty quick! The cocktail was generous in size and flavor! The club was served on a roll with sauce on the side. The only disappointment with the sandwich was the cold slice of cheddar cheese. A melted slice of Swiss would have been a little better. The one star deduction was because the waitress didn't smile and lacked experience.
